Welcome to WOVB

I am thrilled to be the varsity volleyball coach at West Ottawa! I'm going into my 3rd season at WO and feel very blessed to be back at the school I graduated from. I attended WO and played both volleyball and basketball for 4 years. I feel WO prepared me well for college academics as well as college athletics. After graduating in 2004, I obtained a volleyball scholarship to GVSU, where we won the National Championship in 2005! This was GVSU's first ever volleyball National Championship and it is an experience I will never forget!  I obtained a dual degree in Mathematics and Psychology with an emphasis in Seconday Education.

I have been coaching volleyball for 10 years now. I started coaching AAU when I was fresh out of HS and have coached every year since. I've also coached middle school at Fruitport, as well as Freshman and JV at Grandville HS.  I have a strong love and passion for the game and strive to do my best to instill that passion in young players today. 

I teach High School Mathematics at WO and am married to another WO teacher & coach, Matt Naber. We have a son Brayden who was born on 12/5/13. This is our first child and I can't express how much I am loving motherhood! He keeps us busy!  I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends as well as staying active.
